Crane
registration

Registration of a crane is an important stage in its operation, which requires a careful approach and the implementation of certain procedures. After completion of installation work and before putting the crane into operation, a series of tests must be carried out to ensure its functionality and safety.

The first step after installation is completed is to carry out testing work. This includes checking all the main components and mechanisms of the crane for compliance with technical requirements and safety standards. Testing may include load capacity, performance, functionality and structural strength.

After successful completion of the tests, it is necessary to draw up a crane passport. A crane passport is a document containing information about the technical characteristics, manufacturer, date of manufacture, testing and other important data about the crane. This document is the main means of identifying the crane and also serves as the basis for its registration and further maintenance.

After drawing up a crane passport, the next step is to register it with the relevant authority or inspection. In most countries there are special inspectorates or authorized organizations responsible for the registration and control of dangerous equipment, including cranes. Registration of a crane usually involves providing a copy of the crane's passport, completing a special form or application, and paying any applicable fees or charges.
