Innovation at Logimat 2024

SWF Krantechnik, a global player in the market for components for cranes and lifting equipment, will present its new developments for the first time at LogiMat, the platform for solutions in the field of intralogistics and production management.

One of the main premieres of the company will be the new generation electric rope hoist Nova 2 Rope. Compared to the previous Nova 1 Rope, the entire design has been revised. Nova 2 Rope offers the option of using synthetic Dyneema fiber rope instead of traditional steel rope, making it 90% lighter than the original version. In addition, it does not require lubrication, which simplifies maintenance, ensures safe operation and reduces equipment wear.

The new hoist's rope drum has sealed bearings and the same geometry for both rope types, making the transition from synthetic to steel easier. The lifting mechanism and gearbox are located outside the drum, and the trolley wheels are made of cast iron for increased durability. There is also overload protection located for ease of maintenance.

In addition, the new model is equipped with the Omni Control digital monitoring system and Vario Control frequency converter.

Nova 2 Rope products will hit the market this year with an initial lifting capacity of up to 10 tons.

Another important innovation at the exhibition will be the Athlo Chain Ex Zone 22 explosion-proof chain hoist with a load capacity from 160 to 1000 kg. It is planned to expand the model range to a load capacity of 2500 kg.

To meet explosion protection standards, the Athlo chain hoist has been modified to improve sealing, prevent overheating and eliminate spark-producing factors.

In addition to the aforementioned new products, SWF Krantechnik will also present at LogiMat 2024 the Athlo Belt belt hoist and the lightweight ProfileMaster Plus crane system with chain hoists from the Athlo Chain series. The company will be located in Hall 7, Stand F65, at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center from 19 to 21 March 2024.
